Licensed Nuclear Pharmacist Opening at Red River Nuclear Pharmacy
Red River Pharmacy Services in Texarkana, TX has a unique opening for a licensed nuclear pharmacist.
This opening represents a 7 on-7 off night position, working night shift plus weekend call coverage. While nuclear is the primary role for the position, the pharmacist will also be involved in practicing Long-Term Care, Hospice, Compounding, and Infusion pharmacy. Technicians are on staff with the pharmacist throughout the shift and available for weekend call. Night shift work includes covering call for all departments, filling new orders, checking prescriptions, and overseeing the duties/roles of the technicians. This position is full time with competitive salary and benefits. Salary based on experience.
This position requires an RPh or Pharm D degree.
Must be an Authorized user for Nuclear Pharmacy.

Compound and dispense quality radiopharmaceuticals and adjunct medications in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Manage daily activities of pharmacy including compounding, dispensing, managing and delivery of radiopharmaceuticals
Advise physicians, technologists and nuclear pharmacy technicians
Practice and train employees in radiation safety
Provide a high level of customer service
Maintain employee staffing, training, CE, and development
Maintain policy and procedures to sustain compliance with all laws and regulations
Maintain facility safety and security program
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or PharmD required
Licensed pharmacist or license eligible in North Carolina
Authorized User of Radioactive Materials
Related Nuclear Pharmacy experience
